上周，中国青年报进行的一项调查显示(2298人参与)，70.7%的人认为在职场竞争中具备“灰色技能”很重要，其中20.0%的人表示“非常重要”。受访者中，64.6%的人表示自己具备“灰色技能”，72.4%的人认为这是“人情社会”的必然结果。

A survey of 2,298 people showed that 70.7% people consider "gray skills", which refer to special social skills including drinking and flattering, important at work, the China Youth Daily reported Tuesday。
据《中国青年报》周二报道，一项2298人参与的调查显示，70.7%的人认为喝酒、奉承等“灰色技能”在职场中非常重要。
在上面的报道中，gray skills就是指“灰色技能”。灰色技能指的是某些企业要求毕业生具备的诸如喝酒、唱歌、搓麻、打牌等技能。灰色技能一般不会白纸黑字地写在招聘要求上，但是很多人都心知肚明。同样“灰色”的off-the-books income(灰色收入)指的是不记入账的那部分收入。
很多人认为“灰色技能”吃香是因为我国社会是a society that focuses too much on relationships(人情社会)，也有人认为这是因为我国的exam-oriented education(应试教育)无法培养企业需要的人才。
