MeetMiss Averagefrom around the world as computer works out the most common face in each country -- More than 100 women of 41 different nationalities and ethnicities were photographed in cities all over the world in an effort to find common regional features.

Average和plain这个词一样通常用来表示“平均的、普通的，例如average Joe/plain Jane都表示各方面都一般，不怎么出众的“普通人；而如果在average前面加上above或者below则分别表示“高于或“低于一般水平，例如：His grade isabove average.（他的成绩属于中等偏上水平。）
