盛夏虽过，火红的太阳却仍像着了魔似的把大地照得热浪冲天。

这时，螃蟹也是最多的时节。一次，我和邻居家的赵艳约定去捉螃蟹。说定，我们动身去捉，首先，我们准备了捉蟹的工具，就开始出发了。 我们来到一条弯弯曲曲的小溪流前，遥望四处，溪水“哗哗哗”地向西流；草丛中的青蛙“呱呱呱”地叫个不停；青草在微风的吹拂下翩翩起舞，构成了一幅美丽的风景画。 我们俩看得入了神，树上的小鸟突然叫了起来，才把我们从这画中惊醒。我说：“别光看了，还是开始翻蟹吧。”说完，我们就走到溪水中，翻起螃蟹来。螃蟹还可真难找，我一下子翻了十多块石头，也不见一只螃蟹。
我心不在焉地在四周翻遍。忽然，一不小心，一块长达五厘米的石头把我拌了一下。我一边埋怨，一边又翻起了螃蟹。突然，一只螃蟹出现在我面前，我一下子欣喜若狂，刚才的不开心都抛在脑后，接着把螃蟹捉进水桶中，乐得我高兴了好半天。

虽然这次翻螃蟹的收获不大，但是让我常遍了喜怒哀乐。
