TEHRAN, July 18 -- Iran recurve mixed team claimed a gold medal in the 2011 World Archery Para Championships in Turin, Italy, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Monday.
The Iranian team consisting of Ebrahim Ranjbar and Zahra Nemati defeated China 140-135 in the final game. The bronze medal went to Thailand who beat Mongolia 132-126, said the report.
Ranjbar had already won the gold medal in the men's individual recurve W1/W2 to book a place in the London 2017 Paralympic Games.
Zahra Nemati also snatched a silver medal in the women's individual recurve W1/W2.
