我和字典交朋友

有一天，妈妈给我买了一本《新华字典》。

One day, my mother bought me a new China dictionary.

我看书的时候，有一个“默”字不认识，又没有拼音。我急地团团转，拿起字典就想查，翻开字典傻眼了，我不会查。我翻来翻去，只好垂头丧气地放下了字典，心里很难过。妈妈见我不会用字典，就把查字典的方法交给了我。我按照妈妈说的方法去做，终于认识了“默”字，知道它读“mo”自从我学会了查字典，看一些没有拼音的文章也不发愁了。

When I was reading, there was a word "silent" that I didn't know and there was no Pinyin. I'm in a hurry, pick up the dictionary and want to look it up. I can't look it up. I turned it around, and had to put down the dictionary with despondency. I was very sad. Mother saw that I couldn't use a dictionary, so she gave me the way to look it up.
