The multiple Oscar-winning US Civil War epic released in 1939 remains the highest-grossing movie of all time adjusted for inflation, but its depiction of contented slaves and heroic slaveholders has garnered criticism.

The US Federal Reserve on Wednesday kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged at the record-low level of near zero amid mounting fallout from the COVID-19-induced recession, and projected interest rates to remain at the current level through at least 2022.

由于新冠肺炎引发的经济衰退造成的影响变得日益严重，美联储6月10日将基准利率维持在接近零的创纪录低位不变，预计至少到2022年，利率都将维持在当前水平。

"The ongoing public health crisis will weigh heavily on economic activity, employment, and inflation in the near term, and poses considerable risks to the economic outlook over the medium term," the Federal Open Market Committee, the Fed's policy-making body, said in a statement after concluding a two-day meeting.

In light of these developments, the committee decided to maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 0 to 0.25%, the statement read.

In a separate statement, the Fed projected Wednesday that the US economy will shrink by 6.5% in 2020, followed by a 5% gain next year.

China has seen vast reductions in emissions of major pollutants, in stark contrast with increased output in the industrial and agricultural sectors, according to the latest national census of pollution sources.

From 2007 to 2017, emissions of sulfur dioxide fell 72%, while emissions of chemical oxygen demand declined by 46% and oxynitride emissions decreased by 34%.

Meanwhile, the country's pollutant disposal capacity has significantly intensified.

Nationally, compared with the end of 2007, the number of facilities in industrial companies for industrial sewage disposal, desulfuration and dust extraction increased, respectively, by 1.4, 2.3 and four times in 2017.

Mobile phone shipments in China reached 33.8 million units in May, down 11.8% on a yearly basis, according to a recent report by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

中国信息通信研究院近日发布的报告显示，5月，国内手机市场总体出货量达3380万部，同比下降11.8%。

From January to May, domestic mobile phone shipments totaled 124 million units, a year-on-year drop of 18%.

1-5月，国内手机市场总体出货量累计1.24亿部，同比下降18%。

China's 5G mobile phone shipments stood at 15.64 million units in May, accounting for 46.3% of total shipments in the market.

5月，国内市场5G手机出货量1564万部，占市场手机出货总量的46.3%；

During the same time, 16 new 5G models were released, half of the total new models in May.

上市新机型16款，占同期手机上市新机型总量的50%。

In the first five months, China witnessed 46.08 million units in 5G mobile phone shipments and 81 new 5G models.

1-5月，国内市场5G手机累计出货量4608万部、上市新机型累计81款。

Domestic brands take the lion's share in China's mobile phone market shipments, reaching 91.7%.
