Since the gourd planted by the scholar has gone, he regrets it. He thought: if I had listened to my neighbors, I would not have the result today. Maybe today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, my little gourd would have grown better than the big pumpkin!
So he decided to plant another gourd and vowed to cultivate it well! In this way, the scholar planted another gourd. He watered and fertilized it every day. He caught the aphid as soon as he saw it. He was afraid that it would die again like last time. Little gourd grew up quickly under the careful care of the scholar. And just as the scholar imagined, he grew better than the big pumpkin.
The scholar stroked the gourd carefully cultivated by himself, and tears flowed from his eyes.
