曾子曰：“士不可以不弘毅，任重而道远。仁以为己任，不亦重乎？死而后已，不亦远乎？”每读《论语》至此，总是掩卷长叹，眼前浮现出闻一多那置生死于度外的慷慨演讲，王荆公那“天变不足畏，祖宗不足法，人言不足恤”的豪言壮语，以及鲁哀公那“终没吾世，不敢以儒为戏”的由衷感叹。孔曰成仁，孟曰取义，“朝闻道，夕死可矣”。千百年来，无数中华士子，就是在这样的召唤与鞭策中前赴后继地走上了那条求道而又殉道的悲壮而又光辉的道路。

" Every time I read the Analects of Confucius, I always sighed. In front of me, I saw Wen Yiduo's generous speech, Wang Jinggong's heroic words, such as "heaven is not enough to fear, ancestors are not enough, people are not enough to forgive", and Lu AI Gong's heartfelt exclamation that "I will never live in the world and dare not play with Confucianism". Confucius said Cheng Ren, Mencius said to take justice, "when the emperor hears the Tao, he can die overnight.". For thousands of years, countless Chinese scholars have embarked on the tragic and glorious road of seeking and martyrdom in such a call and spur.
然而，当历史翻到公元21世纪，工业革命的浪潮刚刚席卷全球，全球化的脚步便毫不停息地汹涌而来。沧海横流，英雄依然不断，甚至以更快的速度涌现，只是他们不再会被全民崇拜，而我们也只有在书中才能呼吸到些许英雄主义的气息。当读书人不再是精英的代名词，而财富的原始积累又充满了原罪，我们除了信仰的缺失，更迷茫于人生价值的体现与前进方向的确立。

是英雄的时代早已不再，还是每个人都能成为英雄？或许所有的太平盛世都是“内用黄老，外示儒术”，于是时代便学会了“不尚贤，使民不争；不贵难得之货，使民不为盗”的道理。并非每个人都愿意和有必要历尽艰险，去翻越那最高险的山峰――山脚的景色同样精彩而又与众不同。“绝圣弃智，民利百倍”，道德的高标在现代人追求个性解放，寻求个人信仰，并享受属于自己的人生的呼号和实际行动面前轰然倒塌。人们不再被要求应该如何，而是只被规定不能怎样。“为学日益，为道日损”，在“苟日新，日日新，又日新”地求学的同时，我们每个人又都必须不时地停下来，“生有所息”，面对自我，认识自己，去寻找人生的闪光与生命的救赎。

"For learning day by day, for the road day by day loss", in the "new day by day, new day by day, new day" to study at the same time, each of us must stop from time to time, "life and rest", face ourselves, know ourselves, to find the flash of life and the salvation of life.
曾经，小资们读着村上春树，试着去享受寂寞，品味孤独，在机械无趣的工作与生活中体会苦中作乐般的幸福。如今，更多的人在“休闲――改变人类生活方式”的号召下试着忙里偷闲，追求生活的质量与情调。财富、成就并不是人生幸福的惟一目标，如果“与接为构，日以心斗”，就算身居要职，腰缠万贯，人的一生也是肃杀秋冬，毫无幸福可言。一切，都只是一种心境，以及在此心境下所体察到的人生。“众里寻他千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在灯火阑珊处。”盖《庄子?让王》有云：“古之得道者，穷亦乐，通亦乐，所乐非穷通。道得于此，则穷通为寒暑风雨之序矣。”

诸神的黄昏，或许许多人不再崇拜强者，孜孜以求，为信念献身，但在晚霞之下，我们却能看到无数星火，在勤劳而又不乏休闲的生活中绽放出属于自己的燎原光彩。大音希声，大象无形，“生有所息”，体现的是生命的多样，人性的华光。我们的世界，也因此更加美丽而又丰富多彩。
