BEIJING, March 27 -- The Chinese women's football team will resume training in early April to prepare for the Olympic qualification playoffs against South Korea, after the Chinese Football Association (CFA) named a 23-player roster on Friday.
China managed two wins and one draw in the previous qualification, earning a berth in the two-legged playoffs which were scheduled to take place in March.
However, due to the spread of the COVID-19, the CFA and its South Korean counterpart agreed to put off the two ties until June after it has already been postponed to April.
Jiangsu Suning and Wuhan Jianghan University have five players called up apiece, while Wang Shuang, Yao Wei, Lv Yueyun who missed the qualification, were still excluded from the training session.
According to the CFA, the training camp will take place from April 2 to 30 in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province.
