CHANGCHUN, March 5 -- Brazilian midfielder Lucas Souza has officially joined China League One side Changchun Yatai, the club announced on Thursday.
30-year-old Lucas joins Yatai from APOEL of Cyprus, with whom he won back-to-back Cypriot First Division titles.
Yatai spoke highly of Lucas' physical prowess, passing accuracy and ability to cover a large area of ground in the midfield.
Lucas will team up with fellow Brazilian midfielder Serginho and Nigerian forward Aaron Samuel Olanare, both of whom have joined Yatai in recent weeks.
