ACCRA, Feb. 29 -- Ghana's senior national female soccer team, Black Queens, left here Friday to Turkey to participate in the 2020 Turkish Women's Cup.
Eight teams will be taking part in this year's edition of the competition, which will be held in the city of Alanya, from March 2 to 11.
Ghana and Kenya are the only African countries invited for the tournament.
The Black Queens will take on Chile in their opening game before playing Kenya and Northern Ireland, according to the Ghanaian Football Association.
The competition will give the Ghanaian side the opportunity to prepare for the 2020 Women's Cup of Nations qualifiers in April.
