LONDON, Jan. 3 -- Tottenham Hotspur's England striker Harry Kane suffered a torn hamstring, revealed the north London club on Friday.
Kane, 26, limped off 15 minutes from time during Spurs' 1-0 loss to Southampton on Wednesday. The club issued a statement on Friday, confirming that the striker suffered a tear in his left hamstring during the Premier League fixture and saying that their medical staff will continue to review the injury with treatment ongoing.
Kane has been confirmed to miss Sunday's FA Cup third round tie at Middlesbrough. He has scored 11 goals for Tottenham in Premier League this season.
