体坛英语资讯：Oscar suspended for eight games in China Super League

BEIJING, June 22 -- Brazilian Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Junior received a fine and suspension from the Chinese Football Association (CFA) on Thursday, because of his irrational behaviors in a 13rd round game of the Chinese Super League (CSL).

According to CFA, the 25-year-old was banned for eight CSL games and fined 40,000 Chinese yuan (about 5,850 US dollars).

Oscar's Shanghai SIPG tied Guangzhou R&F 1-1 last Sunday.

The clash occurred in the last minute of the first half, when Oscar kicked the ball onto two R&F players and was pushed to the ground by R&F's Chen Zhizhao. Players and coaches of both teams then rushed towards the field. R&F's Li Tixiang and SIPG's Fu Huan were sent off.

Besides Oscar, other participators, including Chen, Li and Fu, also faced suspension and fines. And both clubs were fined 50,000 Chinese yuan each.

Shanghai SIPG would pay 40,000 more, as it didn't comply with the CFA's regulations of participating in pre-game press conference.
