There is so much hate in the world

世间有太多憎恨

that I have to share this amazing experience my family had today.

As a transracial adoptive family

we get lots of looks and comments

both good and bad.

Well today we were in the middle of nowhere

when a couple told us how beautiful our family was.

This couple happened to be African-American

and they continued to talk about

They gushed over Ariel

We all chatted for a few minutes

and then said our goodbyes.
