JAKARTA, March 19 -- After securing one title at the All England badminton tournament, the Indonesian national team has started to focus on the tournament in Wuhan next month.
The Indonesian team will take part in the Badminton Asia Championships in Wuhan from April 24-29.
All of the top badminton players across Asia are expected to participate in this year's tournament, which will serve as a testing ground prior to the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia according to Kim Hong-Ki, general secretary of Badminton Asia.
About 300 players from over 20 countries and regions, including Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and India, will compete at the event.
Wuhan has hosted the Asian Badminton Championships for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2017, and will be the home of Badminton Asia's flagship tournament until 2020.
