RIO DE JANEIRO, May 27 -- Neymar has guaranteed that he will be fully fit for the World Cup in Russia despite admitting that he is still recovering from a broken bone in his right foot.
The 26-year-old has been sidelined since suffering a cracked fifth metatarsal while playing for Paris Saint-Germain in late February.
He underwent surgery on March 3 and only resumed training less than two weeks ago.
"I'm not yet at 100%," Neymar told reporters in Rio de Janeiro before the Brazil squad boarded a flight to London. "That will come with time. I'm still a bit scared of going all out, but there are still several days before our start."
He added: "I feel good physically. My foot is fine. Of course I have to adjust to certain things. I'm feeling a bit of discomfort but it's not going to stop me from playing."
Brazil will begin their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on June 17 before also meeting Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E.
The five-time world champions will warm up for the tournament with friendlies against Croatia and Austria on June 3 and 10.
