VIENNA, June 10 -- Gabriel Jesus, Philippe Coutinho and Neymar were all on target as Brazil completed their World Cup preparation with a 3-0 victory over Austria in a friendly here on Sunday.
Jesus opened the scoring just before halftime at the Ernst-Happel Stadium by curling in from a tight ankle after Marcelo's drive bounced into his path.
Neymar netted his second goal in as many matches following his return from a fractured foot, dancing around his marker and firing a cool finish past goalkeeper Heinz Lindner just after the hour mark.
Brazil's third goal came when Coutinho chipped over Lindner after a deft Roberto Firmino through ball.
"It was difficult early because they defended very well," Jesus told SporTV after the match. "But we fought hard and kept the ball on the ground. Then when the chances came we took them."
Brazil will begin their World Cup campaign against Switzerland in Rostov-on-Don on June 17 before also meeting Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E.
