SOCHI, June 22 -- Coach Joachim Loew Friday said Germany will avoid the mistakes in the crunch World Cup game against Sweden to be slated on Saturday.
"It hurts, that goes without saying," Loew said of their opener against Mexico. "We've really analyzed those mistakes in the opener, we've talked about that and the team will adopt right measures to stop them in the next game."
Germany lost to Mexico in the group opener and a defeat to Sweden in the second round can eliminate the defending champions from the ongoing World Cup.
Sweden and Mexico are tied atop Group F with three points each. Germany and South Korea have zero points.
Loew admitted that Sweden is strong, but he believes that Germany can overcome the challenges. "We should not start doubting our style of play," Loew said. "If the players bring to the pitch their talent, their idea and their abilities, we can beat anybody."
