PARIS, Nov. 20 -- Both Brazil and France earned wins in their international soccer friendly matches on Tuesday.
France, who failed to progress to the Nations League final four, edged Uruguay 1-0 as Oliver Giroud converted a penalty in the 52nd minute. But Mbappe got injured and had to leave the field.
Brazil also won as they beat Cameroon 1-0 as Richarlison headed in from a corner just before half-time. Their star striker Neymar went off early with a groin injury.
In other friendly matches, Italy beat the United States 1-0, Albania defeated Wales 1-0, South Korea defeated Uzbekistan 4-0, Japan beat Kyrgyzstan 4-0, and Australia beat Lebanon 3-0.
