JAKARTA, Nov. 16 -- The Indonesian men's double pair Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian qualified for the semifinals of badminton's Hong Kong Open on Friday.
Fajar/Muhammad defeated Chinese Taipei's Lee Jhe-Huei/Lee Yang 21-17, 25-23 in the Hong Kong Coliseum.
"Thank God, we express gratitude for the achievement today [Friday]," said Fajar.
In the semifinal, Fajar/Muhammad will face the winner between China's He Jiting/Tan Qiang and Japan's Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda.
"We have not been satisfied with this result, and we will face them tomorrow [Saturday]," said Fajar.
