PARIS, Nov. 14 -- Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain will take on second-division Orleans in the Parisians' quest for their sixth straight French League Cup title after the round of 16 draw was made on Wednesday.
PSG are riding high in Ligue 1 with 13 wins in a row to start the season. They top the table with a 13-point advantage. They will undoubtedly be regarded as favorites to move into the last eight.
In other round of 16 matches featuring Ligue 1 teams, Marseille will host Strasbourg, Guingamp face Nice, and Rennes will host Nantes.
Relegation-threatened Monaco, under the charge of French legend Thierry Henry, will face second-division outfit Lorient.
The postponed tie between Nimes and Saint-Etienne is scheduled for Nov. 27, with the winner to face second-division Le Havre.
Elsewhere, Amiens will take on Lyon, and Bordeaux will visit Dijon.
