International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) today announced the winners of the 2016. Hans Christian Andersen Award considered to be the children’s Nobel.

4月4日，国际少年儿童读物联盟（IBBY）在意大利博洛尼亚国际儿童书展上公布了2016年的获奖者名单。中国作家曹文轩最终折桂，成为中国第一位获此殊荣的作家。国际安徒生奖被誉为“儿童文学的诺贝尔文学奖”，是世界儿童文学领域的最高荣誉。

The unanimous choice of the jury, Cao writes beautifully about the complex lives of children facing great challenges. His own difficult childhood has been deeply influential on his writing in which there are no easy answers.

评审团毫无异议全体通过并一致认为——曹文轩书写了儿童在巨大挑战面前所呈现的复杂人生。他本人艰难的童年岁月深深影响了他的写作——这些问题并没有一个简单的答案。
