If the Internet is important to you, you may need to reconsider where you live based on the results of a new report from the International Telecommunication Union, which has revealed the countries with the best Internet connections in the world.

According to the study, which took into account Internet speed and the percentage of people who have access to a connection, we all need to move to South Korea if we want to be better connected – it just topped the list for the second time in a row. Other developed countries, however, didn’t fare as well as you might expect.

国际电信联盟的研究涵盖了网络速度、网络接入人数等数据。结果显示，如果我们想要获得更好的网络体验，就得移民韩国——韩国连续第二年蝉联第一。而其他发达国家的网络状况却不像我们期待的那样乐观。

The US, for example, is 15th on the list, behind the UK, Australia, and Japan. Although to be fair, it was an improvement on its position of 16th in the last report, which came out in 2010. Meanwhile, China placed an underwhelming 82nd, falling behind Mauritius, Brazil, and Dominica.

And Chad had the worse Internet connection, with a score of just 1.17. In fact, Sub-Saharan African countries took out the 23 bottom spots on the list, which isn’t entirely surprising given previous instability in parts of the region.
