花豹隔着玻璃与女孩玩拍手游戏

Most people observe animals from a distance when visiting the zoo but not this little girl - who became unlikely friends with a leopard.

The humorous video of the pair playing together from opposite sides of a glass partition was captured on camera at Pittsburgh zoo.

The footage shows the young girl holding onto a cuddly toy while patting the window, which a leopard stands behind and stares out from.

The predator responds to the youngster by slapping the glass with its paws as if copying her behaviour and instigating a game of pat-a-cake.

The leopard does focus heavily on the toy however, which just so happens to look like a baby raccoon, and this could explain its real intentions.

Throughout the clip the young girl appears to be having the time of her life and the video maker can be heard voicing her amazement.

The clip concludes with the young girl pressing her toys up against the glass - the raccoon and a little fluffy bear.
