贝克汉姆造访同济大学引发踩踏事件 致7人受伤

Thousands of fans and students, who had been waiting for hours in anticipation of catching a glimpse of their hero, invaded the university's football pitch the moment he arrived.

成千上万的球迷和学生翘首以盼数小时，就是为了见偶像一面。在贝克汉姆抵达时，他们冲进了学校足球场。

Those who had been left outside the gate broke the security cordon in a stampede which resulted in at least five people being taken to hospital.

而被挡在大门外的球迷们则冲破了安全警戒线，造成了踩踏事件，混乱中有5人受伤被送往医院。

A kick-about with the university's footballers had to be cancelled because of safety fears, and David Beckham issued an apology on his recently opened Weibo account.

为了安全考虑，原定贝克汉姆与该大学年轻球员的互动也被迫取消，贝克汉姆在他近期刚刚开通的微博账号中致歉。

“Sorry I couldn't get out on the pitch to see the teams. It was impossible to get through the massive crowds,” he wrote, wishing the injured “a speedy recovery.”

他写道：“抱歉今天不能走到球场去跟球队的队员们见面，现场人太多实在走不过去”。他还希望伤者能够“尽快康复”。
