科学研究之仿生眼

A retinal implant, or bionic eye, which is powered by light, has been invented by scientists in the United States.

一种受光能驱动的视网膜植入物，也可以叫做是仿生眼，已被美国科学家发明出来。

Implants currently used need to be powered by a battery but the new device uses a special pair of glasses to beam near-infrared light into the eye.

植入物通常需要电池来提供动力以保证使用。但这款新仪器借助一对特殊眼镜，将近红外光线传送至眼睛。

This powers the implant and sends the information which could help the implant recipient to see.

光能因而可以驱动植入物运转，并传导信息，已到达帮助移植接受者可以视物的目的。
