The money raised would be donated to Thailand Red Cross Society for AIDS prevention and treatment. The contestants' age range from 17 to 25 and 23 of them have bachelor degrees. Sorrawee Nattee, 20 years old, was crowned "Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009". When the result was announced, she knelt down in tears with hands clasped. 泰国5月15日选出最新一届的人妖皇后，由20岁的“佳丽”娜蒂(Sorrawee Nattee)胜出，不管是“他”的身材还是脸蛋，恐怕连真正的女人看了都会自叹不如。泰国芭达雅举行的2009年“蒂芬妮环球小姐”(Miss Tiffany's Universe transvestite beauty pageant)选美，舞台上的“佳丽”全部都是男儿身，他们婀娜多姿的身材、吹弹可破的肌肤，却叫真正的女人又羡慕又嫉妒。30位“佳丽”一路过关斩将，最后是20岁的娜蒂艳冠群芳，从上届冠军手上接过后冠的那一刻，娜蒂不禁喜极而泣。据介绍，每年度的“蒂芬妮环球小姐”，也就是俗称的“人妖选美”，在泰国，虽然人妖外在的性别特征改变，但是法律上作为男性的身份并没有改变，也因此经常招来社会异样的眼光。主办单位指出，“环球蒂芬妮小姐从一开始，我们就想为人妖争取他们在社会的平等，同时也呼吁民众善待他们。”新的人妖皇后未来将代表泰国参加世界变性人选美，为国争光。
