BOGOTA, March 13 -- Colombia will meet Brazil in an international soccer friendly in September as both teams prepare for South America's 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The clash will be played on September 6 at the Hard Rock stadium in Miami, the Colombian Football Federation said in a statement on Wednesday.
Colombia will play friendlies against Japan and South Korea later this month, the team's first matches under Portuguese manager Carlos Queiroz.
The South American zone World Cup qualifiers are scheduled to begin next March.
The next major tournament for Colombia and Brazil is the Copa America, to be played in Brazil from June 14 to July 7 this year.
