BEIJING, March 8 -- Darius Adams scored 37 points and Jarnell Stokes made 33 to lead five players in double figures as Xinjiang dominated Sichuan 126-90 in the 44th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday night.
Sichuan started the game with a 11-2 run, including back-to-back 3-pointers by Jordan Crawford, the former Xinjiang guard. However, Xinjiang overtook it 29-25 thanks to a 9-0 spurt for the first quarter.
Xinjiang played tough defense to keep Sichuan off balance through the second quarter where Zhou Yixiang and Abudushalamu hit a pair of 3-pointers each for a 20-2 run to help Xinjiang lead 68-47 into the second half.
Stokes was hot everywhere as Xinjiang enjoyed a 20-point lead in the third, and returned to the court in the final minutes to seal the victory.
The road win helped Xinjiang sweep the four-game series over Sichuan during the regular season.
Elsewhere on Friday, Taylor Rochestie collected 25 points as Tianjin edged Tongxi 104-99. Fujian whitewashed Aolong 144-106, and Jiangsu won over Bayi 112-101.
