Misprinted money in Jinan

A woman, surnamed Dong, from Jinan, Shandong province noticed something odd when she got change from a vegetable vendor Saturday: a misprinted 50 yuan featuring the familiar portrait of Chairman Mao, but one of his eyes was open and the other closed. Dong said she used a fluorescent lamp to study the note's watermark, and she also looked for help from a bank, which inspected the note and said it is genuine.
