  重点句型

  1. It is on this arable land that the farmers produce food for the whole population of China. (SBⅠ U19)

  就是在这些耕地上中国农民为全国的人口生产食物。

  强调句型“It is(was)+强调部分+that(who)+其他部分”。

  使用强调句型应注意的几个问题:

  (1)强调主语时,从句谓语动词的人称和数要与被强调的部分一致(即与原主语一致)。

  It is I who/that am your true friend.

  我才是你真正的朋友。

  (2)如果对not until 时间状语进行强调,这个not必须移到until前边去。

  It was not until 1920 that regular radio broadcasts began.

  直到1920年,正式的收音广播才开始。

  (3)What/Who/When/Where/Why/How+is/was it that...?

  Why was it that she did it?

  她到底为什么要做那件事?

  (4)强调句中含有定语从句的情况

  It was in the cinema where they met for the first time that they got together every year.

  他们就是在首次见面的电影院每年聚会一次。

  (5)强调句在名词性从句中都要用陈述语序。

  I want to know whose pen it was that he borrowed just now.

  我想知道他刚才借的笔是谁的。

  How it was that he had solved the problem was still a mystery.

  他是怎样解决这个问题的,始终还是一个秘密。

  语法精讲

  ——虚拟语气

  1.虚拟语气在非真实的条件状语从句、宾语从句中的运用;

  2.含蓄虚拟条件句与混合虚拟条件句的运用;

  3.条件句中if 省略的倒装结构的考查。

  虚拟语气

  虚拟语气表示说话人的主观愿望、请求、建议等,或者表示实现的可能性极小或与事实相反的虚拟假设。

  下面从虚拟语气的假设和非假设意义方面作归纳总结。

  指说话人的请求、建议、命令等。常用于“(should)+动词原形”的结构中。

  1.在表示“坚持”,“命令”,“建议”,“要求”的动词后的宾语从句中。如:insist , order, command, advise, suggest, propose, recommend, urge (主张), ask(要求), demand, require, request, desire (希望)等。

  He insisted the girl (should) be taken to the cinema.

  他坚持认为这个女孩子应该被带到电影院去。

  The teacher recommended that we(should) read the book.

  老师建议我们读这本书。

  注意:当suggest的意思是“暗示,表明”,insist的意思是“坚持说”,“坚持某事实的真相”时,它们的宾语从句不能用虚拟语气。

  What he said suggested he was very satisfied with my work.

  他所说的表明他对我的工作很满意。

  He insisted that he had cleaned the room by himself.

  他坚持说是他自己打扫房间的。

  2.在It is demanded/ desired/ insisted/ ordered/ proposed/ requested that… 的主语从句中。

  It is desired that he (should) carry out the plan.

  他想执行这个计划。

  3.在advice, suggestion, proposal, motion (提议), recommendation, order, command, demand, desire, request, requirement, pray(请求), necessity (需要), decision等引导的表语从句和同位语从句中。

  Her suggestion is that we (should ) challenge the other group to a friendly competition.

  她建议我们向另一组提出友好挑战。

  His proposal that we (should) plant many trees is accepted.

  他建议多种树的计划被接受。

  4.在It is advisable(可取的,适当的)/desirable(合意的, 合乎需要的)/important/necessary/natural/urgent (紧迫的)/vital (重要的)/essential (非常重要的)/strange/surprising/incredible/a pity/a shame/no wonder/no surprise that… 主语从句中。

  It’s quite natural that he (should) leave so soon.

  很自然他应很快离开。

  It is no wonder that they (should) have won the game.

  怪不得他们赢了比赛。

  5.在由so that, lest(免得), for fear that(生怕), in case(以防,万一),引导的目的状语从句中。

  Please remind her of it lest/for fear that she (should) forget it.

  请提醒她,以防她忘了。

  Take your raincoat with you in case it (should) rain.

  带上雨衣以防下雨。

  6.在It is( high/about) time that… 中。

  It is high time you should get up/got up. (此结构中的should 不能省略)

  到了该起床的时间。

  7.在用倒装结构表祝愿、诅咒、禁止的句子中。

  Long live the People’s Republic of China!

  中华人民共和国万岁。

  So help me, God !

  如此眷顾我,天哪!

  祝你天天快乐。

  指说话人对某种事实的相反的假设和主观愿望,而这种愿望一般难以实现,或不可能实现。

  1.虚拟语气在非真实条件从句中:

  从句的谓语动词形式 主句的谓语动词形式

  ①与现在事实相反:

  If I had time, I would come.

  如果我有时间,我将来。

  ②与过去事实相反:

  If you had helped me, I would not have failed.

  如果你帮了我,我就不会失败了。

  ③与将来事实相反:

  If it should/were to rain, we would put off the meeting.

  要是天下雨,我们会推迟会议。

  注意:以上非真实条件从句中的倒装情况:

  当从句的谓语中含有should,were,had时,可将if省略,将should,were,had提到句首。但否定式不可用缩略式。

  Hadn’t it been for the captain, the ship would have sunk. (错误)

  Had it not been for the captain, the ship would have sunk.(正确)

  要不是船长,船早就沉了。

  Should he come, I would not leave.

  如果他来,我将不会离开。

  Were the teacher to come, I would ask him for help.

  如果老师来,我将请求他帮忙。

  2.混合虚拟形式:

  当从句跟主句的动作的时间不一致,这时主句和从句的谓语动词形式需要根据意思来确定。

  ①If you had followed his advice, you wouldn’t be in such trouble now.(从句说明过去,主句now说明现在)

  你当初如果听从他的建议,现在就不会陷入这种困境了。

  ②If I were you, I wouldn’t have done the foolish thing. (从句指现在,主句指过去)

  如果我是你,我就不会做这种傻事情。

  3.含蓄虚拟条件句:

  由介词(短语) but for/without(要不是), with (有), 连词 or, otherwise 或but 以及suppose,supposing,providing等词表示if,引出虚拟句。

  But for/Without you, I could not be recovered so soon.

  =If it had not been for you, I couldn’t …

  要不是你,我不可能康复这么快。

  With your help, I might finish it earlier.

  有了你的帮助,我会提前完成。

  He telephoned to tell me the date of the meeting, or/otherwise I would have missed it.

  他电话通知了我会议日期,否则我会错过的。

  I told him to go there himself, but perhaps I should have gone together with him.

  我告诉他自己去那儿,但也许我应该和他一起去。

  Suppose you were in my shoes, what would you do?

  如果你穿我的鞋,你将会怎样呢?

  4.if only虚拟句:

  If only you were my sister!

  要是你是我妹妹就好了。

  If only he had known it!

  要是他早知道就好了。

  6.wish后宾语从句的虚拟形式:

  ①与现在的愿望不相符:did/ were

  I wish I were you.

  我多么希望我是你。

  He wishes he had a big house.

  他希望他有一幢大房子。

  ②与过去的愿望不相符:had done

  I wish I had not said that.

  我希望我没说那件事。

  ③表示将来不大可能实现的愿望:would/could/might do

  I wish it would rain tomorrow.

  我希望明天下雨。

  7.状语从句中的虚拟形式:

  由as if /though引导的方式状语从句或表语从句可以用陈述语气表示可能符合事实的情况,也可以用虚拟语气表示与事实不符或与事实相反的情况。

  ①表示与现在事实不相符,用一般过去时。

  The teacher treats the pupil as if he were her own child.

  老师把这个学生当作她自己的孩子一样看待。

  ②表示与过去事实不相符,用过去完成时。

  I felt as if it had happened yesterday.

  我感觉那似乎是发生在昨天。

  ③表示与将来事实不相符,用“would/might/could + do”。

  It looks as if it would/might/could rain.

  天看起来要下雨。

  书面表达:看图类写作技巧

  【要点概述】

  看图类写作要求考生有较强的逻辑思维能力和语言组织能力。

  看图类写作应该注意以下两个方面的问题:

  仔细观察几幅图画,如果是以记人叙事故事情节为主要内容的,就要弄清楚故事的开头和结尾,并理清整个事件发展的前因后果,把图片展示的人物、地点、时间、事件等有机地组合起来,切勿遗漏某些细节。然后用连贯的句子造句成篇。如果是说理性为主的内容,就要看懂图画内容并加以描述,最后对图画中要反映的现实问题加以议论,发表看法。

  2. 确定短文的时态和人称。
