We had an amazing conversation.
4．A young man, while traveling through a desert, came across a spring of clear water. The water was sweet. 5. Besides, shopping at this time of the year was not a pleasant experience: people stepped on your feet... 确定要填入冠词后，一定要结合上下文语境，根据冠词的基本用法，填入不定冠词(a或an)，或定冠词(the)，近几年来还没有考查过零冠词，但也要引起考生的注意，不可忽视。 知 识 清 单 考 点 警 示 1．冠词的位置。 (1)冠词与名词连用，总是置于名词之前，有形容词修饰名词，也置于名词前。如： The potato is a vegetable, not a fruit. In the train, we found an empty thirdclass carriage. (2)形容词前有so，as，too，how修饰时，不定冠词a须置于形容词之后、名词之前。如： It was so warm a day that we decided to go to the sea. (3)指示代词such与感叹词what总是置于不定冠词a之前。如： How did you make such a mistake? What a lovely day! (4)副词quite，rather常置于不定冠词a之前。 It's rather a difficult question.
