　　增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（）,并在其下面写出该加的词。

　　删除：把多余的词用斜线（）划掉。

　　修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。

　　注意：1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；

　　2．只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。

　　Passage 1What do you want to say to your parents?

　　With the college entrance examination is drawing near, my parents are getting more and more anxious about me. They have bought a lot of learning material and healthful recipes for me, hoped that I can work harder and make a greater progress in my learning. However, what they did make me stressed out. But I would like to say the following words to them:

In my mind, he is someone interesting in traveling, swimming, and playing table tennis. Beside, it will be better for her to have a pet dog as I have been keeping one at home for some time. With such pen pal, I hope I can share with her my experiences in traveling, taking care of pets, or whichever we have in common. I believed I will improve my English by doing so and learning more about her country. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

　　Recently, our school has held the meaningful discussion on whether it is reasonable for middle school students to have classes on weekends. Some of our classmates believe we should have classes on weekends because we can make fully use of free time to review the lessons we had learnt. Some others are against the opinion, saying we had better to have a good rest on weekends so that we can work effective during the weekdays. The rest agree with neither of the opinion. They have the view which keeping the balance between work and play are important for us. They suggest one day of the weekend should used to learn our lessons and during the other day we do something interested or have a rest.

　　I saw your note yesterday evening. You suggested that we went to the concert this Sunday. I'm terribly sorry, and I have to say good-bye for my uncle. He is going to England to do him PhD and he will leave off this Sunday. To be honesty, I'd like to go with you to the concert. I hear the performance will last two week. so how about go there next Saturday? Please let me know that it will be OK. Give me call.Thanks

　　Dear Editor,

　　I used to be a physician in the children’s department of a hospital. Form time to time I treated children who had poisoned by medicine with older family members. The children didn’t know the medicine was danger ; they just knew it tasted sweet. Children easily open the bottle what we now use in China.

　　Some days before I talked about medicines with an American. He showed me a sort of plastic bottle. The design was quite simple and I’m sure our Chinese factories could produce these bottles. The top of the bottle can be opened by pressing down on them while turning. This is difficult for most young children to do so , though grown-up can open these bottles very easily.

　　I’m certainly that the expense of making such tops would be very small. As a doctor , I’d love to see this doing. And most parents would be grateful.

So I really hope to take this chance to improve it.
