专题三 形容词和副词的级及倍数表达法 一、 形容词、副词的比较级和最高级 1．比较级的修饰语常见的有：much, even，rather, still, a lot，a little，a bit，a great deal，far, by far，any(用于否定句或疑问句)等。 2．比较级＋than… “比……更”；less…than “不如……”。

三、形容词、副词的特殊结构 1．句型“the＋比较级＋…，the＋比较级＋…”意为“越……，就越……”。 The harder you work, the more progress you will make. 你工作越努力，你取得的进步越大。 2．“比较级＋and＋比较级”意为“越来越……”。 Our motherland will become more and more powerful. 我们的祖国将变得越来越强大。 3．句型“no＋比较级＋than…”意为“两者都不……”。 The film is no better than that one. 这两部电影都不好。
4．句型“more…than…”意为“与其……不如……”。 He is more shy than frightened. 与其说害怕，不如说他害羞。 5．句型“can't＋…＋enough/too …” 意为“再……也不为过”。 You can't be careful enough when driving a car. 开车时，你再小心也不为过。
