Here three teenagers are telling us their spring break stories.
In my April holidays, I was lucky enough to take part in a school trip to Vietnam. On the first part of our adventure we went on a challenging fourday trek(长途旅行) across many mountains.Luckily, there were many of my classmates and teachers around. We relied on each other for support and encouragement when things got really tough.Even though the trek was hard, I'll never forget how beautiful the landscape was.
During our trek, we got to visit a local tribe. The best part was when we played with the young kids.We showed them how to use toys like a soccer ball. They loved being with us and always had such big smiles on their faces. We left them many gifts like coloring books and sporting goods. They were so thankful and happy.I think we really made their day.

During spring break, I went to Florida with my host family.“I want to get a tan (晒成古铜色) there!”my host sister said excitedly.
It was really warm down there. My host sisters and my host brothers spent most of the daytime lying on the beach, enjoying the sun and reading a book.I didn't want a tan at all, so I wore a long sleeved shirt to hang out with them on the beach. That was kind of weird (怪异的).My host sister Kelly has sensitive (敏感的) skin. Her skin got burned after just a few hours in the sun.She felt sad!
We went to a dance club one night.I didn't really dance a lot, but my sisters were so energetic that they danced until midnight.

American high school goers call it Spring Break, and judging by American films, these holidays are filled with constant partying. However in the UK we sometimes call it Study Week.
Sadly, that is exactly what I will be filling my two weeks off doing.I am currently in my sixth year at school with only a couple of months to go till I sit my Advanced Higher Art, Higher Psychology and Higher Business exams.I will be heading to the school library as much as possible, as well as locking myself in my room for a good few hours of the day.
But I will of course find time to enjoy my holidays as well.In fact, many of my friends are turning eighteen during the break and will be having parties to celebrate. They tend to be held in either church halls or nightclubs. In the UK, the legal age for drinking alcohol is eighteen years old, so I am sure there will be plenty of beer, wine or even vodka (a firm favorite of mine) being drunk at the party.

Along a long path we came to a deep valley, on the far side of which the path led into some very thick bushes.Rather than go through these, I decided that if we walked along the bottom of this valley we could climb up again and rejoin the path on the far side of the bushes.
As I climbed down into the valley a bird flew off the rock on which I had put my hand.On looking at the spot from which the bird had risen, I saw two eggs. They were the kind that I did not have in my collection, so I placed them carefully in my bag, wrapped in a little dry grass.
As we went further down the valley the sides became steeper and not far from where I had entered.I came to a drop of about twelve to fourteen feet. The water that rushed down all these small valleys in the rainy season had worn the rock as glass. As it was too deep to climb down, I handed my gun to one of the men and slid down it.My feet had hardly touched the sandy bottom when the two men jumped down, one on each side of me.They quickly gave me the gun and asked me if I had heard the tiger. In fact, I had heard nothing; possibly because of the noise I made sliding down the rock. The men said they had heard a tiger growling somewhere nearby, but they did not know from which direction the noise had come.

【答案】
Last Sunday morning, when I was having a walk in the park near my home, I came across a crew
a new film with one of my favourite .I didn't have my camera with me at that time,
I rushed back home to get .Unfortunately, by the time I got back, they
finished the scene and the actor couldn't be seen .I was really
and about to leave when he walked out
a building. He was right there in the front of me! I couldn't believe my luck—not only did I
my photo taken with him, but he signed his name on my shirt!
第八处:在out后加of walk out of a building意为“从一栋楼里走出来”。
第九处:把the去掉 in the front of往往指“在事物内部的前面”,显然在这里不合适。
第十处:had→have 本句为not only位于句首,采用部分倒装形式,助动词did已经提前,所以后面的谓语动词应该用动词原形才对。
