FC Barcelona will play Real Madrid in the final of the Spanish Copa del Rey competition on April 20.
Barcelona's place in the final was all but assured last week after they defeated Almeria 5-0 in the Camp Nou Stadium.
That win made their result in Almeria a virtual formality and goals from Adriano Correira, Thiago Alcantara and Ibrahima Affelay 's first goal for the club gave the Catalan's a 3-0 second leg win to see them an 8-0 aggregate triumph.
Real Madrid meanwhile kicked off the night defending a 1-0 lead in front of their fans in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Both side's played their strongest sides while Sevilla also gave a debut to new signing Ivan Rakitic and the result was a tight game that had the fans in the Bernabeu on edge until the 82nd minute when Mesut Ozil beat the Sevilla offside trap to take the ball round goalkeeper Javi Varas and score into an empty net.
With Sevilla needing to score twice, Emanuel Adebayor scored on his Bernabeu debut with the last kick of the game to give his side a 2-0 win.
The final is likely to be played in either Seville or Valencia.
