The competition for the final of the 25th South American Championship under-20 began on Monday noon with a match between the national teams of Argentina and Ecuador in Arequipa city, Peru.
The match will start at 4:50 p.m. local time (2150 GMT) in the Monumental Stadium.
According to the results of the Groups A and B, Brazil and Argentina are among the favorites to win the championship as both have three victories and one tie.
The championship offers two tickets to the Olympic Games of London 2012 and four tickets for the World Cup of the category to be hosted in Colombia in July and August this year.
If Colombia wins one of the four tickets of the Olympic Games, then it would be a fifth ticket.
