Chinese sensation Ding Junhui defeated Marco Fu from China's Hong Kong 10-4 at Wembley Arena on Sunday, becoming the first ever Chinese to win the Snooker Masters.
Ding, 23, dominated the first half 6-2, only four frames away from his first trophy at the most prestigious invitation event.
The 33-year-old Fu showed signs of recovery after the interval, winning two frames consecutively to make it 4-6.
In the crucial 11th frame, two-time UK Championships winner conceded 20 points to his good friend Fu for missing the yellow ball five times, but made a fantastic snooker later to edge Fu 77- 74.
Ding then kept his momentum to win the last three frames, receiving his trophy with smile.
