Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy had been fined 35,000 U.S. dollars by the National Basketball Association's disciplinary officials on Saturday for public comments on referees.
Van Gundy made his comments critical of the officiating following Orlando's 112-103 win over New York Knicks at Amway Center on Thursday.
Van Gundy indicated that referees were paying special attention to the Magic star forward Dwight Howard, who had a league-leading 12 technical fouls this season.
"They are looking for him, there is no question," Van Gundy said. "Every one of them. Other guys get away with stuff, he is not going to."
