Struggling Bundesliga powerhouse Schalke reversed their negative trend by beating promoted St. Pauli 3-0 on Friday after six consecutive winless matches.
Spaniard veteran Raul opened the scoring for the "Koenigsblauen" with 14 minutes into the match when he netted a cross by defender Astsuto Uchida from the right wing.
After the interval, Schalke pilled on the pressure to enforce the second goal through striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar. The Dutchmen nodded the 2-0 from seven meters after a corner at the 53rd minute to mark his 6th goal.

St. Paul was absolutely unable to put up some resistance, and Raul marked the final score with a poacher's goal to send St. Pauli home with a stunning 3-0 defeat.
Schalke celebrated their first victory in front of home crowd. St. Pauli remains on 13th position while Schalke climbed from 17th to 15th position.
