The German record champion Bayern Munich defeated Freiburg 4-2 with midfielder Danijel Pranjic making three assists to wrap the expected victory in the Bundesliga on Friday.
The Bavarians staged an idealess first half until the 39th minute when defender Martin Demichelis opened the scoring with a header from a corner.
Bayern doubled the score at the 61st minute through striker Mario Gomez, again off a corner by midfielder Danijel Prajic.
At the 64th minute, Freiburg shortened the deficit to 2-1 after substitute Stefan Reisinger netted a header immediately after he was fielded.
The defending champion had no enough so that midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshuck tripled the lead with a right-footed hammer at the 72nd minute.
Eight minutes later, Bayern midfielder Toni Kross scored the 4-1 to force Freiburg to surrender. Freiburg shortened the deficit to 4-2 thanks to Bayern defender Edson Braafheid whose clearance attempt ended in his own goal.
However, the German record champion is still behind the standards with seventh position and 15 points whereas Freiburg slipped to eight.
