On the road against Atletico-GO in the 32nd round of the Brazilian Championship, Ceara was able to score a late goal and tie Thursday's match 1-1, extending its undefeated streak to seven games.

Atletico-GO's Marcao scored the game's first goal in the 25th minute. He followed in his own rebound off a defended header, tapping the ball into the goal.

Ceara tied the match late in the second half. In the 75th minute, Michel bent a stopped ball around the defensive wall and into the upper right corner of the goal.

The result keeps Ceara in 11th place with 44 points. In the 33rd round, it will host Flamengo on November 3 when Atletico-GO who remains in 14th place with 36 points, will travel to play Botafogo.
