Holden's Craig Lowndes and Mark Skaife, both from Australia, won the Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercar race at Mount Panorama in New South Wales of Australia, local media reported on Monday.
According to Sydney Morning Herald, Lowndes, partnered by Skaife, has won the 1,000-kilometer (621-mile) endurance race on Sunday, beating the fellow TeamVodafone Holden combination of Jamie Whincup and Steve Owen by 0.173 seconds.
Defending champion Garth Tander was third for Holden Racing Team, with partner Cameron McConville to complete a Red Lion sweep of the podium.
It was Lowndes's fifth Bathurst win, and Skaife's sixth in a race.
"It's a dream come true for us after 10 years," Lowndes told Sydney Morning Herald newspaper on Sunday, after holding the Peter Brock trophy aloft.
"To not be able to do it back then and have a 10-year break, then get the old band back together, it was pretty good."
Skaife, who also won with Lowndes at last month's Phillip Island 500, said he was thrilled to be driving part-time and back at Mount Panorama.
"Phillip Island was a fairytale, but to join up and win this race and get a result at our grand final, it doesn't get any better in motor sport in this country," he said.
"The last 15 or 20 laps was as anxious as you ever get in this game, (and) this will go down as one of Craig's great drives."
Skaife said he was still happy with his decision to retire from full-time competition, and returning to win at Bathurst was a high point in his career.
