实用口语：高温死亡heat death今夏频发

The prolonged extreme weather has baked many regions in the country since July, with the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Shandong and Shaanxi provinces and Chongqing municipality reporting the highest number of weather-related deaths.

自七月份以来我国的许多地区都出现了持续的极端炎热天气，内蒙古自治区、山东省、陕西省和重庆市成为高温死亡报告最多的地区。

在上面的报道中，weather-related deaths指的是由极端天气导致的死亡，在上文语境中指的是“高温死亡”，也可以用heat death来表示。高温死亡的人死于heatstroke(中暑)，如果是受阳光直接暴晒引起的中暑，可以用sunstroke来表示。

今年夏天北京出现连续多日的sauna weather(桑拿天)，在这种高温天气下，群众最关心的问题之一就是high temperature subsidy(防暑降温补贴)是否及时发放。同时多起高温死亡事件也暴露出我国heat law(高温保护法规)方面的滞后。
