Dutch striker Arjen Robben scored twice to help Bayern Munich beat Hoffenheim 4-0 and move up to third on 39 points in the German first-division soccer league on Saturday.
Mario Gomez, the top scorer of the league, made it 17 goals in 20 games in the second minute, Thomas Mueller doubled the lead, before Robben scored two fine individual efforts against the visitors.
Leaders Dortmund suffered a 1-1 draw against 14th positioned Kaiserslautern, but they still keep a big cushion over second placed Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.
Also on Saturday: Leverkusen defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0; Schalke won 1-0 over Freiburg; Stuttgart lost 4-1 to Nuremberg; Pierre Littbarski's first game in charge of Wolfsburg ended in a 1-0 home defeat to Hamburger SV; St. Pauli beat bottom side Borussia Moenchengladbach 3-1.
