The Brazilian Confederation of Soccer (CBF) announced on Monday a scheduled friendly against archrival Argentina. The match will take place on November 17 in Doha, Qatar.
Although previously speculated, CBF president Ricardo Teixiera only signed the document to confirm the match on Monday afternoon. FIFA declared on August 20 that the match would take place and even scheduled it on their official website.
The match will mark head coach Mano Menezes' first real challenge in command of the Brazilian national team. In his debut, Menezes led Brazil to beat the USA 2-0.
The coach recently put together his second list of athletes to represent Brazil. The national team will meet in Barcelona, Spain, in late August to have practice. Unable to find an opponent, Menezes will strictly practice and observe his athletes that unanimously play outside of Brazil.
The CBF did not confirm nor deny if Menezes' roster of players that he will coach in Barcelona will be the same to face Argentina in November.
