The Flamengo soccer team announced on Friday the arrival of two new players, striker Marquinhos and goalkeeper Vinicius.
The 20-year-old Marquinhos previously played for Vitoria and Palmeiras, while the 25-year-old Vinicius moved from the 2010 Brazilian Championship's second division team Duque de Caxias.
Head coach Rogerio Lourenco previously complained about Flamengo's lack of offensive creativity as Adriano and Vagner Love have respectively been loaned.
On the other hand, the team's starting goalkeeper Bruno was recently waved due to his arrest in regard to kidnap and murder of his ex-girlfriend Eliza Samudio.
With Vinicius' arrival, the team now has four goalies, all of whom are fighting for the starting role in Flamengo's return to the 2010 Brazilian Championship against Botafogo on July 14.
