Italy's Vincenzo Nibali eased to the 14th stage win at the Tour of Italy on Saturday while Spaniard David Arroyo took the leader's pink jersey from Australian Richie Porte.
Nibali established a clear lead when he finished the 205km ride from Ferrare to Asolo in 4 hours 57 minutes 51 seconds, leaving fellow Italian Ivan Basso, Michele Scarponi and Australian competitor Cadel Evans 23 seconds behind.
Kazakh Alexandre Vinokourov, who was unable to keep pace with this quartet up the Monte Grappa summit, took fifth, one minute and a half adrift.

Arroyo took the overall lead finishing 2:25 behind the winner.
The big loser of the day was overnight leader Porte, who struggled in this mountain run to lose almost five minutes.
Arroyo now leads Porte by 39 seconds going into Sunday's 15th stage, a 222km run from Mestre to Monte Zoncolan.
