BEIJING, April 8 --Seven-time NBA All-Star, Scottie Pippen, has been elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Pippen says the honor gives him credibility.
The defensive wizard essentially played in the shadow of team mate Michael Jordan during the Chicago Bulls' run to six NBA championships.
Joining Pippen is joined this year in the hall of fame by seven players and two teams, including two-time NBA MVP Karl Malone, five-time NBA All-Star Dennis Johnson and the 1992 U.S. Olympic "Dream Team."
