Germany lost the last friendly match against Argentina 1-0 on Wednesday, before coach Joachim Loew announces his squad for World Cup in South Africa.
Striker Gonzalo Higuains' only goal was enough to seal the victory for Argentina at Allianz Arena in Munich. Both teams started highly motivated 99 days before the kick-off at the World Cup matches. The first half ended almost without highlights.
But, seconds before the break, Argentine young striker Gonzalo Higuian utilized a lapse by German defence and the goalkeeper Rene Adler. He had no problem to slot home from 20 meters into open goal.

Germany failed to produce any threatening actions in front of Argentine goal area in the first 45 minutes.
After the interval Germany took off the gloves but didn’t manage to overcome well positioned Argentinean defence.
Argentine seemed happy with the narrow lead and killed the clock. Germany's offensive actions remained harmless and inaccurate.
“I'm not happy with the performance of our squad,” German coach Joachim Loew said after the match, “We were unable to put Argentine under pressure, and failed to produce goal-scoring scenes. We staged, all in all, a lack of self confidence.”
